HAUTEFORT NOTRE PATRIMOINE

The association “Hautefort Notre Patrimoine” seeks to better know and make known the “Pays de Hautefort” to all those who wish to do so.

To do this, it seeks, gathers, transcribes if necessary, reproduces, and makes available to all, a documentation as complete as possible on all the district’s communes.
Also, it contributes to safeguard the original documents, or at least, their content.

The association’s life

		History of the commune of Temple Laguyon presented by Maurice Biret, lecturer, during the meeting organized by the “Cercle d’Histoire et de Généalogie du Périgord” November 26, 1997. Document published by “Hautefort Notre Patrimoine” Temporarily out of print, this book is the subject of a planned new edition on A4 paper; enriched with new elements.

		Hold-up in Hautefort A curious case of robbery occurred in Hautefort, in 1942, in a war context and with the involvement of people who were in the news, including famous Dr. Petiot.
		The day of August 21, 1849, at Hautefort Castle A traveller discovers, quite by chance, Hautefort castle, a day of great celebration and tells ... The narrative is supplemented with information and little or not known illustrations, as well as reproductions of two lithographs by Victor Petit, cited in the text as an "artist from Paris”  24 pages leaflet -August 1999 -
		Hautefort castle LITHOGRAPHS - August 1999 - The story of the day on August 21, 1849, indicates the presence, in Hautefort, of Mr. Victor Petit, "an artist from Paris, who was drawing a sketch of the meeting." This same person did, probably in the same period, nine drawings, size 21 x 29.7 cm, of Hautefort castle. These are still found, although rarely, on leaves 42 x 29.7 cm, either separated, or combined in albums. Thanks to the kindness of those who have entrusted it, the association HNP was able to have the prints reproduced in SEPIA or in QUADRICHROME - Separated, in individual plastic pouches, sizes A3 and A4 and uncovered, postcard size; - In an album, size A4, consisting in the nine  views and two pages of a historical note.
		HAUTEFORT District Hippolyte BRUGIERE In the XIXth century and before. Based on the 1892 manuscript filed at the diocese archives -March 2001 -
		Chronology Facts, events and achievements that have left their mark in the life of the“Pays de Hautefort” and have constituted its history. This document aims at summing up all the information collected, classified in chronological order.
		Collection of documents - Volume 1 and Volume 2 Two important works of over 200 pages each, size 21x29, 7cm, with many coloured reproductions. Each reproduces more than fifty documents, with parts, still unreleased, from private archives.
		MEDIEVAL SOIL OCCUPATION of  the “Pays de Hautefort” and of  the “de Born” Forest-April 2006 - 2005 Award Learned Societies of Périgord Organised by the association "Les clochers d’or 24" Pauline DEVAUX, author, in the pursuit of her studies, of a remarkable master’s thesis on medieval history, was kind enough to present her work, realized in the “Pays de Hautefort” and the “de Born” Forest, which have a rich historical and archaeological past.
		Périgord rustic year This edition is supplemented with a chronology of the key dates which have left their mark on the author’s life, illustrations, a bibliography and copies of birth, marriage, death certificates, marriage contract, will’s excerpts, and the 2007 calendar.
